Super Crate Box on iOS is a port of the desktop game consisting of the same hardcore difficulty and gameplay.

Gameplay in Super Crate Box is extremely simple.

-Collect boxes -Receive weapons -Defeat monsters -Repeat

The goal is to collect as many boxes as possible while surviving. Super Crate Box uses the old school “one life only” gameplay rule so once you are touched by an enemy, the game is over and you can restart.

Coinciding with the old school gameplay are the retro 8-bit graphics. There is nothing in the game that will astound or amaze visually; the polished gameplay is the core of the experience with the game.

Unlockable weapons like miniguns, katanas, laser rifles, and dual pistols are your only help. Add in the cast of unlockable characters and Super Crate Box presents its complete experience.

The simplicity of Super Crate Box is what makes it so addictive. Trial and error are the main strategies because the random spawning of enemies is not timed or predictable.

Super Crate Box is excellent because it follows the core gameplay of old school games.

Help us out rescuing her so we can stop worrying about that and start worrying about getting you a new goal for us to unlock more iOS-exclusive content & features!For this update, you can now select your character from the stats menu, so you can always play with your favorite characters. We've tweaked the controls based on your suggestions, made Jump & Shoot possible and added the ability to switch the A & B buttons around. On top of that, 5 new, unlockable characters have been added - you can unlock one of them by collecting 1000 crates in total & another one by making 5000 kills.
